About our Screen-printing
We are a veteran owned small business and we proudly design and print all our apparel in our Leonardtown, Maryland Facility. We print for military commands, businesses, schools, and many more organizations. We ship anywhere in the U.S. and to APO/FPOs too! We primarily use three methods of printing apparel:
- Spot Color Printing
- Simulated Process Printing
- Process Printing
Spot color printing is typically very clean lines, few colors and seldom involves gradients. Simulated Process Printing typically uses 4 colors and 2 whites to give the effect of the full spectrum of colors and can be printed on any color shirt. Simulated Process Printing is great for detailed art with many colors and gradients in the image. Process Printing is very similar to Simulated Process Printing but is really only effective on white apparel however the color is very sharp and accurate and can allow for additional hi-lite or "Spot" coloring.
We also make our own films, create separations, set-up screens - everything from design to printing here on location. We refuse to out source to foreign companies like our competition!
About the Art
If your providing the art, it must be camera ready in EPS, AI, TIFF or PSD formats. If you send us poor quality art we will have to charge art fees to convert the art to production ready quality. If you need us to design the art for you, we charge $65 per hour. Our artist, Jeff Hobrath, is highly sought after and creates all the graphics for each of our brands including NavyChief.com. Depending on your needs, we can discuss options and refine your estimate to ensure you get the best value available.
Turnaround Times: On average we are two weeks or less for most screen printing jobs. Depending on art needs this may take longer. We ship nationwide and to APO/FPO addresses too.
