NavalTees Exapnds in Leonardtown, MD
We got the keys to our new facility just south of the old shop in Leonardtown, MD. This space will hold our new fully automatic screen printing press and conveyor dryer... allowing us to increase production from 500 shirts a day to over 500 shirts an hour!

NavyChief.com & Navy Exchange at 117th CPO Birthday in Portsmouth, VA.
Thanks to the Navy Exchange and the Hampton Roads Area CPOs for the kind reception celebrating the Chief's 117th birthday at the Renaissance Portsmouth Hotel & Waterfront Conference Center. We were invited to show off our new "Anchor Up" shirt which will be among the shirts carried at the NEX this year. 750 Chiefs showed up, gotta love it!

"King of Tees" Established at Leonardtown Facility
King of Tees "King of Tees" (KingofTees.com) is now established at the NavalTees facility in Leonardtown, MD. This begins the transition of NavalTees from "storefront" to "brand" along with the other brands founded by Jeff Hobrath (NavyChief.com & JHASgear.com). King of Tees is now the physical production facility for all the brands as well as a satellite location for the Jeff Hobrath Art Studio.

NavalTees moves NavyChief.com to new Server/Host
After 12 years it was time to move NavyChief.com to a new server and streamline the website. Due to an overwhelming demand on the website (and staff!) we felt it was time to modernize the operation. With the success of our bulk order process and new line of shirts being carried in stores around the world, we had to expanded our mass production to meet the needs. NavyChief.com, NavalTees.com, and JeffHobrath.com now all point to one store, NavyChief.com, which is our most popular brand. This keeps it more efficient for us to mange and creates a one-stop-shop for our customers.

NavalTees Visits Norfolk Area Navy Exchange Stores
NEX stores Norfolk, Little Creek and Oceana host's NavalTees CEO Jeff Hobrath and Field Sales Manager Debbie Valentine. This opportunity allowed us to gain valuable feedback from both the NEX staff and NEX customers to improve product developmnent and customer service. NavalTees staff handed out free t-shirts at all three stores promoting the brand. "We have the greatest customers" said Hobrath, "It's an honor and a priviliage to serve the Navy's combat team. When ever we can get out of the shop and meet our servicemen and women, we jump at the opportunity."

NavalTees, LLC Opens Doors in New Facility
2009 proved to be a wonderful year for NavalTees, we had to expand our operation again. We moved the shop just up the street from our old location in Leonardtown, MD. Our new shop features a store front, freshly painted walls, custom production area, showroom and conveniently located on Fenwick Street just off the town square. Leonardtown is a wonderful place to live and work. Come on by and pay a visit!

Chief Bike Unveiled
The Chief Bike was unveiled at on the 116th birthday of the Chief Petty Officer, at Naval Station Mayport, Florida. The Greater Northwest CPOA in Everett, Washington and initial sponsor, NavyChief.com, and thousands of CPOs around the world started raising funds for this project in 2004. In May 2009, the bike was brought to the NAS Patuxent River area, and displayed on the square in Leonardtown, MD (HQ of NavyChief.com), the Pax River Air Show and once more at Compass Systems prior to the "Chiefs' Run for the Wall."

"1st Annual Navy Chiefs' Run for the Wall"
Compass Systems, NavyChief.com and Pax River Chiefs team up for the 1st Annual Navy Chiefs' Run for the Wall. NavyChief.com donated the shirts which were used for a fund raiser, led by the folks at Compass Systems, to benefit the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home in MD. The run started at Compass Systems in Lexington Park MD, proceeded to All American Harley Davidson in Hughesville MD, then off to Fort Washington Harley Davidson in Fort Washington VA, then off to the Pentagon and finally into DC and the Vietnam Memorial.

Mark Lawson's first air-date as Brody Lovett on "One Life to Live" 4-24-08 featured various wardrobe tees by NavalTees. Including some of our shirts featured on the program was our worn by the main character "Brody Lovett".

Pt Mugu CPOs Visit NavalTees
NavalTees Production Facility opens its doors to Shipmates. Among the first visitors to see our newly expanded production facility in Leonardtown MD, an outstanding group of Navy Chiefs from NAS Pt. Mugu, CA. We plan to open our doors to the public on a regular basis in the very near future - stay tuned for the Grand Opening!

NavalTees Expands Production Facility at Leonardtown Headquarters

NavalTees has expanded its production facility to triple the square footage of the original location. "The increased demand for our products and growth of our production line required the need for a major expansion" said Galligan, "this will also allow us to open our much needed showroom for the public to see what we have to offer."

NavalTees Opens Retail Store at NAS Patuxent River Navy Exchange
NavalTees opens it first "Brick & Morter" retail shop at the NAS Patuxent River Navy Exchange. The store offers the same great products as available on navaltees.com and navychief.com. This is the first of several stores to be opened across the D.C. region and beyond. "Opening stores near major commands offers a chance for the sailors to meet us and check out our products first hand" said Hobrath, "It's a very exciting time for NavalTees."

NavalTees Sponsors St. Mary's County Special Olympics 2007
Jeff Hobrath of NavalTees selected to design the "Escape to Key West" Special Olympics fundraiser shirt (held in Hollywood Maryland, March 2007) as well as the main event shirt for the St. Mary's County Special Olympics (held in Leonardtown Maryland, May 2007). Not only did NavalTees design both shirts, but also produced them, totaling over 1000 shirts for both events.

NavalTees wraps up successful year with Navy Museum
Working with the Navy Museum over the past year has been a very positive experiance. Several projects included the Cold War Gallery graphics and marketing support, Museum and Foundation product design & development and web support. "Teaming with the Navy Museum makes sense, they preserve naval heritage, and we promote it, the end result is beneficial to the Sailor" said Hobrath.

NavalTees Designs/Produces 3000 T-shirts for the Troops for Christmas
At the request of hte MWR Liberty Program, NavalTees designed and produced 3000 T-shirts for Servicemen to be handed out for the holidays. "Supporting the troops is what we are all about, giving back to the Sailors, Marines, Soldiers, Airmen and Coast Guardsmen is a must, we should all do what we can to help these young men and women who serve our country, and stop to say thank you every now and then," said Hobrath.

NavalTees, LLC moves into new facility just off the square in historic Leonardtown, MD. Leonardtown is a wonderful small town situated on Breton bay just minutes from NAS Patuxent River. This new office will combine production and administration under one roof, making for a more efficient operation and improved department synergy.

NavalTees families visited the White House in Washington D.C. as guests of the "White House Mess." NavalTees, LLC and NavyChief.com supports the White House Mess providing specialty merchandise for their staff. "We are so proud to support the White House Mess, it's just an honor to know them. They truly made us feel at home, in the White House of all places" said Hobrath.

This is the second time NavalTees, LLC has attended this event showcasing our line of NavyChief.com goods specifically designed for Chiefs. NavalTees supports the MWR Liberty Program's "Armed Forces Guard Challenge 2006" in Washington D.C.

Jason, from MWR Staff DC Region, shows off the "Armed Forces Guard Challenge" Shirts designed by NavalTees, LLC. Another fine event which we enjoyed very much supporting. The Armed Forces Guard Challenge is an event in which the Cerimonial/Honor Guards from all the branches compete for awards. A great time for sure!

NavalTees becomes official sponsor for the MWR's "Navy 5 Miler" in Washington D.C.

Jeff Hobrath and Andy Galligan of NavalTees, LLC attended the MWR Navy 5 Miler in D.C. NavalTees became an official sponsor of the annual event and provided custom desinged t-shirts for the MWR staff and runners. "Sponsoring MWR events like this is exactly the kind of thing we enjoy doing the most, supporting the troops and coming together as a Navy community" said Hobrath.
