Subj: CHIEF BIKE PROJECT STATUS REPORT

1. As of 26 March, 2005, the Chief Bike Project has raised $16, 327.81 for the construction of the Chief Bike.

2. The project committee will be forwarding an article to the Northwest Navigator, Navy Recruiter Magazine, and several other military publications by 05 May, 2005. Immediately after the articles are published, we will be forwarding a point paper, requesting funds from Big Navy to assist in the completion and overall success of our mission.

3. There is a new online forum at Navychief.com for discussion, input and information concerning the Chief Bike Project.

4. In addition to the original Chief Bike shirts, there are now sweatshirts, embroidered leather jackets, and Navy biker shirts for white hats who support the project.

5. To encourage CPOA’s and messes to help with the fundraising, the colored Chief Bike shirts are now only available in bulk orders at wholesale cost. Any mess interested in purchasing bulk orders can contact NavyChief.com at (215)491-3797 or use the custom order page (click here).

6. Any Chiefs willing to participate in a photo to accompany the article are requested to contact NCC Maloney at (425)328-0334 by Monday, 02 May. You will need jeans and a Chief Bike shirt. The photo will also be used for a poster currently under construction.
